ISAC-Lotniczy (Information Sharing and Analysis Center) is the first, Polish center for information sharing and analysis in the field of aviation cyber security. The basis for its establishment was the provisions of the Law on the National Cyber Security System. This is another such initiative in our country after implementations in the areas of railroads and mining.
Currently, the Aviation ISAC consists of three founding companies:
LOT Polish Airlines (PLL LOT),
Polskie Porty Lotnicze (PPL),
Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PAŻP).
The primary goals of its founders were to enable the exchange of information on cyber security incidents and threats, transfer of knowledge and experience, and building a common communication platform. In addition, the goal is to develop standards for cyber security in the aviation sector, joint educational activities, and in the future to establish international cooperation with similar initiatives, as well as to establish cooperation with public administration bodies and incident response teams.
