LOT POLISH AIRLINES

LOT Polish Airlines was established in 1928 as a result of the merger of private airlines Aerolot and Aero. As the national carrier, LOT began operations on January 1, 1929, and is now one of the 12 oldest active airlines in the world. Since 1931, the vertical stabilizers of LOT's aircraft have featured a stylized crane by prominent graphic designer Tadeusz Gronowski. The unchanging presence of this sign is an expression of LOT's combination of tradition and modernity.

Since 2003. LOT is a member of Star Alliance, an alliance of leading airlines around the world. The alliance's mission is to offer passengers comfort and the highest standards of travel. Thanks to Star Aliance, our passengers can reach the farthest corners of the world faster and more comfortably. During their travel, they can also enjoy VIP and Executive Lounges, as well as numerous benefits resulting from participation in Frequent Flyer programs.

Thanks to cooperation within European hubs, in Warsaw and Budapest, an optimally designed network of connections has been created, enabling quick transfers of up to 30 minutes. The location in the center of Europe and the airports' friendly infrastructure provide extensive transfer options for the entire region. The grid-adapted fleet supports the construction of long-haul, European and domestic connections, as well as cargo transport.
